Alaska’s Deshka River Lodge is nestled along the east bank of the Deshka River, 60 air miles north west of Anchorage. Our location is remote and prime for wilderness activities. Alaska’s Deshka River Lodge is only accessible by plane or boat.
The Susitna river drainage is known for world class fishing for salmon, rainbow trout, northern pike and more. We offer guided and unguided fishing packages as well as adventurous float trips. Our central location allows us to easily access the local rivers and streams.

Just to name a few. With our custom jet boats we access even shallow waters that other boats can’t- a great way to experience the beauty of Alaska. The Deshka river is known for world class King Salmon fishing.

We offer fully guided fishing in our jet boats. With our location we can easily access any of the 300+ miles of navigable rivers and streams. To keep up with the migration of the 5 species of salmon, we provide the necessary spin fishing gear and lures (bait if needed) We’ll fish mainly off shore. We prefer 4 or less fisherman per boat and per guide. However if you are booking a single package you will most likely be sharing a boat with other clients.
If you wish to stay closer to the lodge we also offer unguided fishing where we provide the necessary fishing gear, boat (16-18 foot Lowe powered with a 8-15 hp 4-stroke outboard) in fact many times the best fishing is right in front of the Lodge. We would recommend the unguided package only to fisherman that are familiar with fishing our area. If you have never fished in our types of rivers and are new to salmon fishing we recommend you consider the guided packages - your success rate will be much higher and it’s important to us that you are a satisfied customer!
Alaska’s Deshka River Lodge requires every client to sign an Insurance “Waiver and Release Form” Alaska’s Deshka River Lodge makes no guarantee as to the success, quality and quantity of fish and takes no liability whatsoever for changes in fishing regulations made by the Alaska Department of Fish & Game. Alaska’s Deshka River Lodge uses Anchorage based Air Taxis for all flights and flight seeing tours, but takes no liability for changes in flight schedules due to weather or other adverse safety conditions. Flight arrangements with a different air carrier are possible but are responsibility of the client. All terms and rates are subject to change without notice.

Jacob moved to Alaska 14 years ago and started working as a fishing/hunting guide in 2004 he met Dacia working at a fishing camp herself they feel so blessed to be able to continue to do what they love. We guarantee you’ll get a kick out of these two. From the great hunting tales Jacob has to share to the wonderful meals you’ll enjoy prepared by your chef Dacia.

Alaska’s Deshka River Lodge also will accommodate you on a nights stay or maybe join us to celebrate a family reunion. Great location for weddings! We take reservations for dinner and are restaurant opens June 10th hours posted on the rock wall.
